The use of biofuel which is derived from sustainable resources has many benefits to mineral diesel. Producing less greenhouse gases and very little particulate matter generators operating from biofuel are more environmentally friendly. This greatly reduces the requirement of Diesel Particulate Filters now being specified in Low Emission Zones. ESE has addressed the concerns that many have regarding the issues experience in the past with low temperatures and biofuel and we can now match or even better the low temperature performance of mineral diesel.  Being biodegradable any spillage of biofuel on land is not as environmentally problematic as are other types of fuel.  All fuel supplied by ese are compliant with EN14214:2003.
